Your art and site are awesome! I wish mine was as good as yours. I've also struggled with mental health and depression. I was diagnosed as bipolar not so long ago, but I went through a decade of constant depressive cycles. I hope your art helps you heal and move on. I used to thing that creat art suffering was necessary, like the poètes maudits, but it doesn't need to be a self destructive process. Actually living a balanced and healthy life can give you the right mindset and energy to create more, draw more, right more...and I see you are on your way. I don't know why I'm saying all of this but I hope it helps.

I might have bipolar or borderline, I was diagnosed with "psychotic depression," but I'm not sure about the accuracy of the diagnosis, I'm going to a new doctor soon. I also experience some form of depressive mood cycling--it's tough.
My art has been very healing for me since I started this project. I hope it allows me to integrate these parts of myself and move on too--I think it already has and will continue to.
I also used to believe that suffering was necessary in the creation process of art. I know better now. I create so much more when I'm happy and feel good and take care of myself.
Yes I am working my way towards a better life each and everyday. I'm doing my best. It has been allowing me to create more and work harder, I'm happy to say.

Hello, and thank you for the kind words. I see you've read my journal, I know it's a lot of heavy things in there. I'm glad you are understanding of it. When I first started writing in it I was in a bad space and didn't feel like I had anyone to talk to, so I shouted into the void instead.
I now have a wonderful and loving boyfriend who I talk to when I'm feeling down. Thank you so much for the kind thoughts. Even though I'm doing better now, hearing things like this is still very uplifting.

Yes! SUZU He loves his starry blanky very much. He's really attached to it. Fuzzy blankies are the best, I have two in my bed. They're not from my childhood (all of mine got well-worn and were thrown away). My favorite from my childhood was pastel blue. My new two are both pink. 
So, I encourage getting cozy with blankies and Suzu encourages it too! He loves being snug as a bug in a rug.

I am proud of my pilot episode writing, I think it will quickly get my ideas across and (hopefully) build a bond between my characters and my audience.

I actually agree a lot. Creation exists for creation's sake. Our souls are creation, and therefore, to create is inherent to the soul which is pure creation (expansion, love/peace, positive energy). But I also believe there is a uniquely (to our knowledge) human thing in our creations, which is that we bring an element of destruction (shrinking, fear/wrath, negative energy) to each creation we make.

Hi there and thanks! I can answer, I've actually been thinking about writing a blog about this. I do identify, and was raised as a girl, but part of me has always felt like a boy. I don't feel entirely feminine on the inside--I feel masculine inside, but not enough to be dysphoric. I don't mind my body, but I'm not sure it's 100% aligned with my spirit.
I believe in souls, and I think I have a masculine one. Suzu is connected to my soul more than any physical form I happen to have ended up in this time.
